AROUND THE HOUSE: Securing Your Home

As you settled into your home, you may have gotten so consumed with arranging furniture

and hanging photos that you could have easily forgotten important tasks that will help make your

home a safer place for you and your family. Make sure to handle the following safety measures, if

you haven’t already:

Have the locks changed.

Change the codes on security systems and garage door openers.

Replace the batteries on the smoke alarms.

Make sure the house numbers are at least 6-inches tall so they are visible from the street for

emergency workers.

Please feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail for help with any of your real estate

needs. Also don’t hesitate to refer me to anybody you know who may be looking to buy or sell

a home.
