We had the opportunity to entertain family and a friend from Scottsdale this last week. One of our memorable days was a day hike to the Vermilion Castle located on route to Brian Head Ski Resort south of Parowan. This some what steep ascent is well worth the wonderful vistas and interesting shaped rocks and cliffs with a large array of many different colors. We then traveled to the Petroglyphs also near Parowan. Enjoy what this area has to offer.
