From Parowan Utah, heading towards Brian Head Resort, turn on to the Yankee Meadows / Vermilllion castle turn off. There is a trail head marker on the right a couple of miles past the camp area. 
This is a hike we had done before but had not traveled past the trails end. Heading south at the top you will come to a gorgeous view of Brian Head Ski Resort two peaks and due south east as well as views of the Cedar Breaks. Well worth the approximate 3-3.5 hour time frame. Expect cows on the trail! They are more afraid of you than visa verses.
