It is a gorgeous time of year to be hiking in Zion National Park! We have hiked extensively in Zion, Angel’s Landing, the Upper Emerald Ponds and Observation Point to name a few, this weekend we were off “the beaten path”. Our excursion took about 4 hrs. Not far North from the East end on the infamous Tunnel we parked our camper and headed South bound following the wash then circled our way back taking a route up on the rock formations. The topper of this spectacular hike was seeing a large herd of mountain sheep and being able to photograph them!
